Despite that, Greene still became a first-round pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, going 28th overall to the Memphis Grizzlies before getting traded to the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings.

But Greene failed to develop, and by 2013, was playing professionally in Puerto Rico. Since then, he has played professionally in China, the Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Taiwan, before landing in the Big 3 league.

Greene was previously arrested in 2014 for fighting outside a Miami Beach nightclub with then- St. Louis Rams linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar. He was charged with battery and disorderly conduct.

Most recently, Greene played in the Big3 league, which is a 3-on-3 league of ex-NBA players
