My Sephora Sale Favorites – A Foodie Stays Fit

I love skincare and makeup and am always hunting for the best products and switching up my routine as I find new favorites. The Sephora sale is happening NOW, which means I’m stocking up on a few of my trusty must-haves and favorites, and I’m also ordering some new-to-me products to try. I love that the sale is happening right before the holidays since I tend to gift beauty products for stocking stuffers and for beauty junkies, and I also like to add it to my own Christmas list!

First, how does the Sephora Sale work?

The Sephora sale has three discount tiers:

  • Rouge members (the highest level, spends $1000 a year) get 20% off
  • VIB members (spends $350 a year) get 15% off
  • Insiders (free to join here) get 10% off.

All of the membership levels use the same promo code: SAVINGS at checkout.

AND, all members get 30% off the entire Sephora Collection items, which are their branded products. It’s a great way to save on some beauty basics, like beauty tools, mini palettes, eye makeup, and even affordable skincare.  I particularly like the Sephora brand makeup brushes so I’ll be snagging some new ones.

Be sure to note that each level of membership also has different shopping days. The sale opens to each level as outlined below:

  • Rouge members can shop on October 28
  • VIB members can shop on November 1
  • Insiders can shop on November 3

I don’t anticipate things selling out, so I’m not too worried about shopping as soon as the sale opens for my level (VIB), but I am excited to snag a few things!

My Sephora Sale Favorites

I’ve noted what I already own and love + what I’m eyeing below. If you need recommendations for anything specific, leave a comment and if I have a favorite brand, I’ll let you know!

My Sephora Sale Favorites

What I already own and LOVE:

Tata Harper Rejuvenating Anti-Aging Serum

I got this serum in my Swan Beauty Box and truly love it. I have a few anti-aging serums that I alternate among depending on what my skin needs. This is great for the day after I use the AHA mask or TNS serum.

The Rich Cream with TFC8® Face Moisturizer

This is super pricey, so I would only get it while it’s sale. It’s an anti-aging moisturizer, which is one of my favorite types of product to try. I really love this, and it’s a good option if you need a heavy day time moisturizer. I still prefer my Beautycounter Supreme Cream at night since I have aging skin AND dry skin!

ILIA Lip Wrap Overnight Treatment

This is SO hydrating. I use it at night after my skincare, and I never wake up with dry lips. My lips looks NOTICEABLY fuller after using it for a few weeks! No filler necessary. 😉

What I’m eyeing:

THE FACE Illuminating Self-Tan Drops

I’ve never been much of a self-tanner, but I’m trying to keep my skin out of the sun as much as possible these days. Hannah has this and says it works WONDERS. You add a drop or two to your moisturizer at night and wake up with a glowy, natural-looking tan. I typically HATE the smell of self-tanners (Modere’s is the only one I currently like), but Hannah says it’s tolerable!

GOOPGLOW Microderm Instant Glow Exfoliator

I currently LOVE my Beautycounter AHA Smoothing Mask, but I’d love to see how it compares to this goop scrub. Hannah also has this and loves how small but firm the particles are. It doesn’t have AHA like the Beautycounter mask, so this is truly only for physical exfoliation. But I think I’ll like having an exfoliating wash that doesn’t require sitting time like the mask and I’ll keep this in my shower.

Nécessaire The Neck Serum

I’ve heard a few bloggers talk about this on social media, and I want to try it out! It’s a serum that you can wear throughout the day to protect your neck from harmful light exposure and other factors that result in aging skin. I’m great at wearing sunscreen and other protective serums (like this vitamin C serum) on my face, but I tend to forget about my neck when it comes to skincare! This brand has the prettiest packaging too.

What I already own (or have tried in the past) and LOVE:

Tarte Opening Act™ Lash Primer

I am OBSESSED with this lash primer. Mascara is one of those products that I’m always hunting for (I’m picky!), but this lash primer is non-negotiable. It goes under every brand of mascara I use. If you only buy one thing during the sale, make it this. You can also get this directly from Tarte for 15% off with code “terilyn15” so if you’re not a Rouge or VIB member, use my code on instead. 😉 Buy their Tartlette mascara and some Maracuja lip stuff while you’re at it and thank me later.

ILIA Skin Tint

I LOVE this lightweight foundation. My skin looks flawless when it’s one but it also looks like I’m makeup free. It has SPF and makes skin glowy without ever looking greasy or shiny.

ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara

I’ve used this in the past and loved it! It’s VERY natural looking, so if you like a no-makeup look, this is perfect!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk

A cult favorite for good reason. This is the perfect nude pink lipstick. I wore it in our family photos last fall and I wear it for almost all my blog photoshoots.

Too Faced Lip Injection Power Plumping Cream Liquid Lipstick

Another favorite of mine.

Jouer Cosmetics Essential Lip Enhancer Balm

Gives natural looking shine and it’s so soothing.

Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump

I’m obsessed with this stuff. I am always hunting for it, so I’m going to grab more to keep in every purse and at my desk. It’s SO flattering and you don’t need a mirror to apply. You can also get this directly from Tarte for 15% off with code “terilyn15” so if you’re not a Rouge or VIB member, use my code on instead 😉

BareMinerals BOUNCE & BLUR Blush

I got a travel size container of the Mauve shade in a Sephora order once and love it! It blends SO easily. I now want the poppy pink color – it’s gorgeous!

Tarte Tartelette™ In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette

It’s rare when I find an eyeshadow palette where I’d use every shade. This one checks that box. Again, if you’re an Insider, you’ll get a better discount from Tarte. Use code “terilyn15” for 15% off.

IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush #8

Perfect for applying powders.

PRO Blush Brush #99

For more targeted application. I use this for blending in concealer.

PRO Crease Brush #26

My essential for eyeshadow.

PRO Crease Brush #19

I use this for eyeshadow too.

What I’m eyeing:

Armani Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation

I love the Beautycounter and Chantecaille foundations, but I want one that is more full coverage. I hear this is just amazing!

Dior Forever Matte Foundation SPF 15

Another foundation I’m considering. This price point is a little better than the foundation above.

Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi™ Anti-Pollution Bronzing Drops with Peptides

I’ve been hearing about these! You can use them in tons of ways, which is cool. I’d probably use a drop or two on top of my foundation where I typically add bronzer. The color of the product looks very dark, but I’ve read it actually works with every skin tone. I want to try this over the winter when I don’t have as much sun on my skin!

Line It Up Clean 24-Hr Gel Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner

I want to try this waterproof liner to see if it’s actually smudgproof (ALL liners come off on me!!)

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil

I LOVE a dark, bold brow, so this is in my cart. I also love the Unlocked mascara from Hourglass.

Westman Atelier Face Trace Cream Contour

I thought I was getting this bronzer with a set I bought from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but it didn’t come with it! I’ve wanted to try this for months since I love the other Westman Atelier products I have. They’re so creamy and blend in beautifully without disappearing.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Matte Bronzer

Beautycounter discontinued their bronzer so I’m looking for a new one! I love this brand, so I’m definitely ordering this.

Buxom Full-On™ Plumping Lip Polish Gloss

I love the Buxom lip stain, so I want to try this too!

Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Transfer-Proof Lipstick

Transfer free but NOT drying is always a tricky combo but I’m excited to try this!

PRO Eye Liner Brush #22

I definitely need a new liner brush. Sometimes I use wet eyeshadow as eyeliner for a little extra staying power.

Hourglass Angled Liner Brush

Another great brush option.

Hair and Body

What I already own and LOVE:

Dyson Airwrap

It’s out of stock when I’m adding this, but I’m hoping it may come back into stock! I LOVE mine (here’s how I use it).

T3 Curl ID 1.25” Curling Iron

My favorite Curling iron! I have one that’s slightly fancier, and you really don’t need anything but this basic one! (Read my review of T3 curling irons here.)

Dyson Supersonic™ Hair Dryer

Best hairdryer ever. The end. My review here.

OUAI Treatment Mask for Thick Hair

I use a deep conditioning hair mask once a week. I also own the Colleen Rothschild one though and prefer that, to be honest.

Double Pint Large Round Ceramic Brush

I love a big round brush for blow outs (If I’m not using the Airwrap).

Goop G.Tox Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo

I use this scalp scrub once a week to help get any leftover product buildup out of my hair. It smells great and makes my hair feel so clean. If you use dry shampoo during the week, you definitely want to scrub your scalp at least once a week to get it clean. I love love love this.

Nécessaire The Body Serum

This is SO luxurious! My skin really does look more even when I use it.

What I’m eyeing:

Nécessaire The Body Wash

I hear amazing things about this, so it’s time to finally buy. I think I’m just going to get this starter set since I want a mini body serum to keep in Boone.

Supergoop Play Sunscreen

I hear this feels just like body lotion, which is always what I want from a sunscreen. I don’t want anything tacky!

Did I miss anything? I’d love to know if you have a Sephora favorite we should know about in the comments!
