Christmas Gift Guide For Him – my picks for the guys!

This gift guide features a round up of my top Christmas gifts for him!

I think we can all agree that shopping for men is difficult. The men in my life are really practical, so I either have to think way outside the box, or get them something I know they’ll use or wear but won’t buy for themselves.

This year, I found a couple great things I’m excited about. There are some things that Tommy already has and loves that I included as well. And while I do have a little boy in my life to gift for, I’m putting a separate gift guide for kids together so I’ll share my picks for Thomas in there.

Here are the things that I’m eyeing for Tommy, my brothers, my dad and my father-in-law!

Christmas Gift Guide for Him

1.) Duck Head Vest

Tommy’s ALL time favorite clothing brand is Duck Head. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen him do a few try-ons (which made us all giggle). Their clothes fit Tommy so well, they’re a nice blend of southern and outdoors-y, which is Tommy’s exact style. He claims their pants are the best fitting EVER. Since clothes are a somewhat boring thing to buy a guy for Christmas (especially khaki pants!), get your guy a vest! Tommy LOVES their vests, and they’re more fun to give than something basic like pants. AND the sizing is simpler. Tommy’s top pick is the Overland Quilted Vest.

2. Solo Stove FirePit

I think this is such a good gift idea for a guy. It’s pricey, but it’s something that you can use for years to come with your family. We don’t have a fire pit here at our new house, so I’m planning to order this (and my give it to Tommy for Christmas). They make a few different sizes, so make sure to measure where you’d be putting this to know which one to order. Hannah (my employee) has the 19 inch size and says it’s perfect. They host friends at their house all the time and have never thought it was too small. She does not have the ash pan or base plate, but her’s sits on pavers.

3. Theragun Massage Tool

This Theragun is what I got my father-in-law last year and he LOVES it. We have one and love it too! (And we actually have the Hypervolt Massage Gun.) We first bought this so I could use it for my sore muscles after a run, but now both Tommy and I use it equally. It’s amazing for getting knots out of your back, sore glutes, you name it. It’s what my sports massage team uses, so you know it’s good.

4. Barbour Pullover

Along with Duck Head, Tommy loves anything Barbour. Like I mentioned above, I find that gifting outwear is more fun (and simpler) than things like pants, so I recommend this pullover. Tommy would love this for layering over a polo for work, and he’d also likely wear this to play golf. It’s in the $120 range, so it makes a very nice gift without a massive splurge. If your favorite guy prefers sweatshirts over pullovers, this hoodie is a great option.

5. Blackstone Griddle

This griddle is such a fun gift idea. Hannah also has this and raves about it. This is PERFECT for tailgates too! The legs fold up so you can pack it in the bed of a truck and take it with you to the tailgating spot. It’s also fun for cooking breakfast outside, at-home hibachi, and of course, it works as a basic grill too.

6. Yeti Backpack

I always include a Yeti of some kind in my gift guides since guys just love them. They’re great for kid’s sporting events, tailgates, taking groceries to Boone for the weekend, beach days etc. This backpack cooler style is perfect for all of the above. They’ve updated it since the older, zipper version and I hear this is better. It uses a magnet closure and folds over so nothing spills out (WAY better than the older hard to open zippers).

7. Tecovas Duffle Bag

I got this for Tommy last year and he LOVES it. It’s a great size, and it’s a little less “formal” than some of the other leather duffle bags I saw. Tommy prefers a more low-key leather versus something shiny like this, so the Tecovas bag was ideal. It’s truly a beautiful bag! They also make the most amazing cowboy boots if the men in your life are into those.

8. Waterproof Bluetooth Clip-On Speaker

This clip on speaker by JBL is only $37! He could clip it to his golf bag for an outing with his buddies, or he could also clip it to his Yeti Backpack. I love that it’s waterproof too. If your guy is a true music junkie, he can even use this in the shower.

9. Ember Travel Mug

I know everyone has enough Yeti travel mugs for their lifetime, but this Ember Travel Mug will make you want to throw out the rest of your to-go cups. I have the regular Ember Mug and it SAVED me as a new mom when my coffee was always cold before I could drink it. Tommy loves to take his coffee to go, and this mug keeps your coffee at the exact temperature you like, AND fits in a cupholder (unlike most of our Yeti mugs).

10. Duck Boots

Tommy lives in his L.L. Bean Duck Boots all winter!! You can get a few different versions of these boots, but I recommend the insulated pair since the rubber toe gets super cold in the snow if they aren’t insulated. These are really good looking with jeans and khakis!
